Our company was founded in 1999 to provide real estate agents and advertising agencies with low level aerial photographs. These "aerial shots" are taken by remote control cameras, which are mounted on top of tall tripods / telescoping masts.

In year 2001 the business idea and business concept was introduced during a franchise exhibition. This entrepreneural idea and business concept was an instant success. The demand from our customers for high quality photo and easy-to-use systems for elevated photography lead us into the design and manufacturing of elevated photo systems based on tall tripods / telescoping masts. 

We now offer one of the world's largest selections of tall tripod / telescoping mast based photo systems and remote camera controls. Our new telescoping mast models are also applicable to lighting and WIFI (wireless fidelity) systems for film and video productions, surveillance applications, as well as video camera and microphone towers. Our products are "made in Germany".

PHOTOtowers also develop custom telescoping mast systems, including complex remote telescoping towers for film and video productions.
